Sprayer calculator

Work out how much product and water you need for a field, how many full tank loads that is and what goes into the last partial load.

How the sprayer calculation works

Total product is the label rate per acre or hectare multiplied by the area. Total water is the area multiplied by the carrier volume. Dividing the water by the tank size gives the number of full loads; the remainder is the last, partial load, and its product amount is proportional to the area that water covers.

The calculator does not recommend a rate. Take the rate, carrier volume and any restrictions from the label of the product for that crop and use, and keep units consistent: acres with gallons per acre, or hectares with litres per hectare.
